At the International Journalism Festival in April 2024 in Perugia, Italy, the Journalism Value Project brought together, among others, Italian foundations who could kick off a national conversation on the needs for public interest journalism.

Over the last ten years, a wave of innovative new approaches to producing public interest journalism has swept across Europe. A network of 25 independent European newsrooms has formed and share some of their experiences in this podcast.
